Job Description: Service Desk Agent Primary Responsibilities
. Provide exceptional customer service via communication, ownership of tickets, and being proactive.
. Contribute as a team player on the Service Desk team for our high-profile client.
. Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed upon Service Level Agreements.
. Follow established policies and procedures, with a commitment to improve upon them.
. Interface with users of technology, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy to promote a positive image of the department. Resolve problem situations in a professional manner.
. Collaborate with other internal teams and vendors to gain understanding of business needs and solutions.
. Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior by complying with applicable laws, regulations and policies.
. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager. Requirements
To be considered, applicants need to meet the following requirements OR demonstrate an ability to learn. Technical Skills
  • Basic operating system (desktop/OS), networking and applications experience including familiarity with Microsoft platforms (Windows 10, Server 2008 or higher, Active Directory, etc.).
  • Install, Upgrade, Deploy, Test, maintain and troubleshoot Windows including Office Suite provide and restore systems configurations and/or reimage or refresh.
  • Experience with troubleshooting of incidents and requests (documentation, diagnosing and escalating).

. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to follow process to identify root causes of issues. Soft Skills
. Flexible and willing to learn. Humble, and able to take direction. Ability to prioritize and quickly resolve issues.
. Work independently, self-starter and require minimal supervision. Own assigned tickets and problems. Company / Client Requirements
. Possess a clean criminal history
. 3-6 years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of ITIL and End User Computing best practices.
  • Experience working in a large financial service enterprise.
  • Managing and implementing iOS and Android devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools
  • Understanding of VoIP telephony
