Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world's largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the INM Data and Analytics team.
Job Introduction
As a senior member of the India Data and Analytics Team, the role holder is expected to deliver end to end, the projects in the Data and MIS domain. He/she will collaborate with Senior RBWM Leadership team to determine and prioritize immediate requirements, and anticipate future Data pipelines and architecture, MIS and critical Sr. Management/Group/Region ad-hoc requests and consulting to ensure high quality delivery. This position would either entail functional management as an individual contributor and people management responsibility of leading 3-6 FTEs.
Principal Responsibilities
This position would entail functional management as well as team management. The incumbent would be required to
  • Have in-depth business knowledge across a breadth of functional areas within Retail Banking
  • Be proficient in evaluating new technologies and identifying practical business application to develop enhanced business value and increase operating efficiency
  • Provide technical/functional leadership to multiple teams and ensure execution of projects/ BAU MIS as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality from the teams
  • Build a flexible data architecture to propel future banking
  • Develop Data marts, warehouses using various ETL technologies and Building reporting framework, end user information delivery applications using BI and Web technologies
  • Manage the content and effectiveness of the information structure
  • Interface with portfolio managers and vendors to determine immediate information requirements, anticipate future needs and drive infrastructure development.
  • Liaise with colleagues in INM, D&A colleagues across Region & Global and also with Region/Global business leaders to deliver impactful Data and MIS projects.
  • Manage projects/sprints and small working groups towards delivery of MIS and data pipelines
  • Build big data ETL pipeline development with spark or Hadoop and ML pipeline productionisation with k8s, Spark UDF, ML flow or kubeflow
  • Build an End to end enterprise wide customer view and data strategy bring in offline - online integration
  • Manage senior stakeholders and prioritize effectively between urgent and strategically important projects
  • Lead the migration to cloud initiative end to end
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree / Graduation or as required for the role whichever is higher.

  • At least 9 years of Data Architecture and MIS Experience focused primarily in the Banking & Financial Services Domain
  • Knowledge of in any one or combination of tools such as SAS, SQL, JAVA, Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, Actuate, DB2, Oracle, across any of the platforms UNIX, mainframe or Windows
  • Knowledge and experience in building data warehouse/data lake/distributed data architecture
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong track record of managing and leading medium to large teams
  • Exceptionally strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
