Job Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate major, complex and/or non-standard contracts with public and private sector customers, including RFI/RFP/RFQ's, teaming agreements, MSA's, prime/subcontracts, consulting and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Build and maintain pipeline of potential new contracting opportunities.
  • Develop strategies and materials based on current past performance and future investments in new capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Government contracting officials and contracts/procurement executives in industry
  • Develop and administer government contracting policies, controls and procedures in accordance with stated corporate objectives and requirements
  • Interface with various groups to understand key requirements and ensure contract terms comply with corporate directives, policies and procedures
  • Review government solicitations, assess solicitation requirements and risks
  • Full responsibility staffing and P&L

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree preferred or ability to demonstrate successful past performance in this arena.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for developing and executing business strategies.
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Pre-existing industry connections
  • Mindset tailored towards developing business strategies that can be properly tracked and reported on.
  • Strong judgement, professional demeanor and business acumen
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective negotiation, communication, organizational, and people management skills
