In this role, you will lead one or more Validation Steering Team (VST) with a primary focus on SMARTNIC products for Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG):
* Lead the overall product validation during multiple phases of the development, from pre-Silicon, Power on, post silicon, PRQ Launch and post-launch sustaining. Scope covers all aspects of product validation including, electrical, thermal, power/performance, security and RAS etc.
* Work with ingredient validation teams to define, commit to and execute towards clear validation plans that meet the program milestone goals.
* Track validation progress against the goals/milestones with clear indicators including bug/sighting indicators from sysdebug. All the ingredients teams part of the stack including software, firmware, validation infrastructure should be tracked. Collaborate & communicate with the ingredient leaders and teams and assure their alignment.
* Proactively identify risks and blockers in validation phase of the project. Lead the resolution of risks and initiate focused team/Task Forces if necessary and help pulling in experts and resources as needed.
Proactively drive the mitigation of risks and provide timely heads-up and escalation to program management if impacting program milestones/quality/security etc.
* Support customers enablement by, for example, providing validation guidelines, product heatmap to our customer facing Product Application Engineers (PAEs). Comprehend customer feedback on our product deficiencies/sightings, validation coverage and quality criteria.
* Be the validation single voice to program milestone quality assessment and change control board (CCB) for any product Plan of Record (POR) changes. Communicate platform validation progress, risks and issues to senior management. Communicate program management guidance to the sub-teams.
* Build an inclusive environment within the validation community. Ensure that all teams/individuals are respected, heard, and are able to contribute to their maximum potential.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or equivalent with strong technical background and BS 12 years or a Masters 10 years
- Technical acumen Experience with integrated platform module or SOC validation with multiple ingredients such as hardware BIOS firmware software and use cases.
- Familiarity with Intel validation methodologies tools and environment Deep experience with one or more of the following will be a plus Silicon development.
- Firmware Software development and or computer memory subsystem platform system development and system debug
- Strong leadership and influence skills Ability to build respect and influence across a diverse cross organizational validation team without having solidline management authority
- Strong analytical planning and problem solving skills in complex paradigms Ability to drive complex integrations and to coordinate across platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills including building and maintaining new work relationships working as a team and working through differing inputs and opinions to arrive at optimal and agreed upon solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including listening skills Ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior technical leaders and senior managers
- Experience with and affinity for process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree MS MBA or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Computer Science
- Experience with leading platform validation development of server systems memory subsystem graphics and or other data center productsInside this Business Group
