ASSISTANT MANAGER - PROCUREMENT
This position is responsible for the execution of procurement strategic and operational activities.
Strategic activities include Category Management and Strategic Sourcing support,
Operational activities include Tactical buying, Center Of Excellence Reporting and Analytics, COE sourcing, Operational Excellence, Content and Data Management, Supplier Performance Management, Third Party Commercial Risk Management and Due diligence.
Responsible for ongoing Vendor development, Identification of right vendors and getting relevant documentation and obtaining vendor approval from concerned department.
Maintaining up-to-date data of vendors. Manage compliance and reporting. Monitor and strive for process and master data compliance.
Ensure delivery of measurable value for the Organization out of the procurement activities performed
Promote and measure continuous improvement including performance and compliance
reviews of vendors
Report on key KPIs, compliance with policies, strategies and processes and identify continuous improvement potential and new opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance.
Accountable for cross procurement collaboration, cross domain collaboration at site level.
Ensure to deliver right quality material from right source at right price and right time with
Preparation MIS reports (Price trend, time management, vendor rating report, vendor analysis report, procurement v/s payments, vendor wise materials and submit to HOD)
Responsible to act as a bridge between vendor and management.
Creating an environment of coaching and on-going capability development, motivating
individuals to perform at its best. Setting clear performance goals in collaboration with teams
/ individuals, monitoring outcome and holding them accountable.
