Roles and Responsibility

Day To Day Job Duties

  • Successful delivery of transition engagements from sales cycle to the point of hand off to the steady state team
  • Follow Global Transition Services methodologies and processes to ensure delivery of integrated solution meeting contractual requirements
  • Review and understand contractual obligations of service area based on Statement Of Works, Master Service Agreements and Cost Models
  • Identify and communicate Risks, Assumptions and Issues based on documentation provided from sales cycle
  • Communicate with transition leader, service area Subject Matter Experts and customer about project requirements
  • Define project deliverables and project schedule of service area
  • Prepare presentations and participate in Project Initiation and Planning Workshops
  • Elaborate current state assessments, gap analysis reports, and document Current and Future Mode of Operations process flow diagrams
  • Develop process and procedures documentation including roles and responsibilities matrixes
  • Design and implement configuration of ITSM tools to support ITIL Operational processes, which may include Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Change Management, Service Level Management, and Configuration Management
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing of ITSM tool configuration
  • Provide training for external customers about ITIL Operational processes including tool configuration and usage
  • Prepare Operational Checklist to review and obtain approval from steady state team
  • Document lessons learned
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology

    Basic Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management processes and principles
  • Strong understanding of ITSM Tools including Service Now
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project
  • Skills and experience in managing services projects
  • Thorough understanding services processes and technologies
  • 10+ years of experience in Service Management
  • ITIL Service Management Transition/Implementation experience is required
  • Project Management experience is required (not as project manager but as project contributor)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification and at least one ITIL v3 Intermediate Certificate is required
