Job Description

Job Summary:
The Team leader willoversee the specific team that he/she is assigned to. The TL will work under the direction of andreport directly to the Process Manager. The Team Leaders role is to share his/ her knowledge and skills withmembers and assist other team members with the functions of the team to performtasks as needed.
Main Responsibilities
Team Leader willfacilitate team operations by discussions through the sharing of informationand knowledge, identification of teamwork issues, development of problemsolvingrecommendations, and recommendations of standardizing team operations.
Maintain MIS forinternal and external customers.
Handle monthly processand security audits. Ensure documents are up to date to avoid non complianceand adverse ratings by internal and external auditors.
Ensure SLAs are met.
Conduct weekly, biweekly and monthly meetings with clients, as agreed
Single point of contact for client and support teams
Coordinate individual teammembers work schedules and leave requests. The Team Leader will coordinate Team schedule with Process Manager whois responsible for approving requests.
Ensure that each teammember feels that their work is valued, appreciated, and meaningful to thesuccess of the process.
Ensure maximumutilization of team members and control absenteeism.
Create opportunitiesfor team members to provide input on procedures/processes and share theirexpertise with other team members.
Serve as a resource andcontent expert to team members; providing them with guidance and beingavailable to answer questions to clarify the work activities.
Ensure team members areknowledgeable about the process and the teams roles in the delivery of theseservices.
Function as a team memberand carry out duties and responsibilities assigned to the team.
Assess the need fortraining and submit requests to the Process Manager.
Identify practices thatare and are not working and make recommendations to the Process Manager.
Relate all new orrevised policies, procedures and /or processes to team members to ensure theyhave the most uptodate and currentinformation.
Support new teammembers in working through induction programme, ensure that they have thenecessary knowledge to effectively participate on the team.
Recognize&celebrate team & individual accomplishments & exceptional performance
Contribute to staffappraisals & supervision process.
Mandatory : B Com/ M Com/ CA Inter (Not pursuing CA Final)with minimum 8 years of work experiencein P2P, O2C and R2R of which not lessthan 3 years should be in team leading role with a minimum span of 20 members.
Holds a valid passportwith B1/ B2 US visa
Robust experience oftransition and setup of accounts payable, accounts receivable and generalledger transactions.
Demonstrated ability towork effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relateeffectively with staff on all levels
Demonstrated ability tocommunicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
Demonstrated ability toquickly learn new information, processes and procedures
Attention to detail andaccuracy
Demonstrated ability tomeet deadlines, determine priorities and organize work to meet objectives andidentify and deal with problems
Experience in the useof Microsoft Office suite of products
Experience in the useof financial systems (e.g. Oracle R12, People Soft, Sage, Quickbooks)
