This position supports the business units in their production of technical documentation such as data sheets, application notes, and user's guides. It requires:
Key Skills

  • Accurate writing, editing, proofreading, formatting, and publishing of technical documents and other technical literature while adhering to ISO/TS quality standards and company guidelines.
  • Interfacing with internal customers on development of technical literature and marketing projects/schedules.
  • Producing projects in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating and supporting document control, distribution, and website posting process. Includes PDF file creation and release.
  • Other activities and responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Minimum B.A. English, Journalism, Communication, or a degree in a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a technical writer.
  • Working knowledge of and proficient in PC tools/software
  • Excellent written, grammar, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong decision making, attention to detail, and prioritization abilities
  • Independent thinker who communicates and works well in a team environment
  • Must thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experienced userof Adobe FrameMaker
  • Exposure to DITA, and SDL Knowledge Center or similar DITA CMS
  • Experience with Visio, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus
