Systems Engr II
Responsible for Terminal Loading and Automation System packages and liquid custody transfer metering projects.
Converting customer requirement into Terminal Automation Engineering documents like functional design specification. Develop system application as per objective specifications and follow international industry codes & standards.
Preparation of Terminal Automation detailed engineering documents like Functional & detailed Design Specifications, System design Specifications, Flow charts, Logic diagram, FAT Procedure, Operation Manual.
Shall Support the Project, Engineering & Proposal Team on all systems design and engineering work.
Work closely with Sourcing Team to generate and perform technical bid evaluation for project items.
Perform internal testing (iFAT), customer witnessed Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), site installation, pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Field Calibrations of Metering runs, Batch controller and / or Flow computer testing and trouble shooting, Flow Meter trouble shooting etc.
Close coordination with customer to ensure smooth FAT, SAT and handover.
Liaise, coordinate and monitor sub-contractors/vendors on assigned projects to ensure goods quality as per project specification and timely delivery.
Assist in shipping arrangement of project items for project delivery. Execute other assigned activities when needed.
Ensure that general safety and health requirements for both clients and company are observed at work place.
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Petroleum / Oil / Gas or equivalent.
5 - 8 years working experience in Oil/Gas industry, specifically on metering skids and/or terminal loading projects.
Strong Hands On Technical Knowledge in Primary measuring instrument (Flow Meters - Coriolis, PD and Turbine Meters), Secondary measuring instruments (PT, TT etc.), Flow Computer (FC), Gas Chromatograph (GC), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), SCADA, Batch Controllers, Flow Computers, Tank Gauging Systems, Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming.
Familiar with API MPMS, ISO standards
Confirmed knowledge and handson experience designing and working on Metering skids and instrumentation along with control systems - Cabinet designs, Flow computer selection, BCU selection and wiring, IO assignments, Loop Diagrams etc.
Know-how of mechanical and piping design codes and standards like ASME, EN, PED, etc.
Experience with On-site validation and certification of fiscal instruments to meet the metering standards and applicable API codes.
Sound knowledge on field instrumentation and proficient in handling equipment and testing instruments like Calibrators, Hart communicators etc.,
Experience in Network configuration.
Hands-on Experience on Batch controllers and Tank Gauging for Terminals is mandatory. Experience working on Field verification of flow Meters using SVP / Volume Tanks is expected.
Participate and lead software and Hardware Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test of Control System.
Strong hold on technical data and documentation pertaining to Metering skids - such as drawings, datasheet preparations, technical manuals / specification and industrial code and standards, sizing and Selection of instrumentation, Cable and JB Schedules, Power load calculations, earthing design, flow meter calibration procedures, FAT and SAT documentation, Operation Manuals, etc.
Experience working with SIL concepts and Safety system design.
Ability to identify add-on solutions and or Solution optimizations to meet application and project demand.
Perseverance, understanding and non-confrontational approach for difficult customers
Estimation and budgeting knowledge
Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels. Must be able to work as a team.
Experience in Design, Safety Audits , HAZOPS, HAZID
Experience working with Honeywell MSCL, 1010 Batch controllers, Flow meters, Honeywell Tank Gauging system, Honeywell Experion System would be an added advantage.
Site Activities:
Experience with On-site validation and certification of fiscal instruments to meet the metering standards such as per API standards.
Wiring and termination of Honeywell batch controllers and site proving of loading skids.
Sound knowledge on field instrumentation and proficient in handling equipment and testing instruments like Calibrators, Hart communicators etc.,
Terminal Loading software, Scada software installation, startup, trouble shooting and site modifications.
Startup and commissioning of the Terminal Automation.
Site installation supervision, pre-checks, Internal Testing, Start up, IO Checks, Commissioning, Calibrations, Punch list closure reports, SAT documents, customer handover, As-Built documentation etc.
Software and Device Skills:

Smart P&IDs, SPI
Terminal Management Software - Experience with Honeywell terminal manager software will be preferred.
Honeywell Experion, MSCL Batch Controller, Flow Computer software, Flow Meter Software, Tank Gauging Software (like Entis), Access control software
PLC - Honeywell CE, HC 900, ML etc.
RFID, Access Control
Communication protocols, Networking
