About the team
This role is a part of ourRemote Infrastructure Management Team.Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.
What you will be doing

  • Handle day-to-day UNIX/AIX operating system tasks and break-fix support

  • Configuration and troubleshooting of AIX Operating system

  • VCS Clustering and High availability management

  • Designing, troubleshooting and storage Migrations

  • Systems running on Linux / AIX platforms and OS clustering, partitioning and virtualization

  • Proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with AIX Operating Systems (Hardware, Software).

  • Ability to perform installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.

  • Expertise in OS backups

  • Implement changes, perform security related tasks, identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures

  • Proficient in patching level issues, support required for any issues during the patching

  • Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs

  • Following Standard Operating Procedures for BAU support, Build, configure and maintain all applicable Servers

  • Recognizing and articulating job related problems to management.
