Job Description

Dear Candidates,

JD – System Engineer
·Support, Supervision & Management

· System Monitoring (Zabbix/Alternate Tools)
 Level 1 support without on-site call 
Level 1 support with on-site call needed (physical check, validation, question, hardware intervention, onsite maintenance with 3rd party)
Control & Reporting

Morning check (health check of systems with early reporting to France/India)
Security Reporting (patch, hardening)
Regular Restore test (files & servers) + keep track of test for audit
Windows patching (with WSUS, manual process for critical servers)
Linux Redhat patching with Satellite
ESX patching with Vcenter
Component deployment or upgrade
On-demand specific activities from Technical Applications Manager in France/India
End Users requests (change or incident) on filer and printer
Printer: create new printer / fix issues
Filer: create new share / help accessing shares
Demand from Service catalog ticket (permission change, file restore)
Backup Applications Incident Resolution/Support

Candidate Profile

Minimum 23 years’ experience
Strong background in Windows server administration
Good technical problem solving skills
Experience in highavailability and mission critical environments
Skills on Netapp & NetBackup system will be an advantage
Experience on basic Redhat satellite administration will be an advantage

Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ BSC IT / MSC IT / Engineering with focus on data center technologies/infrastructure
Windows certification mandatory
VMWare Training or Certification would be an advantage
Linux certification will be an added benefit


Good communication skills (spoken & written English)
Analytical and structured approach
Willingness to work in shifts (24x7) or participate in 24x7 on-duty service
Willingness to travel onsite, if reqd.
Proactive and independent
French language skills will be an advantage
