Job Description
Develops the plans and drives the execution of software product integration and testing activities for a complex product, and works with the program managers on release scope definition (cadence, content, milestones, target customers). Manages Integration Requests from component teams to create and maintain a reference configuration for the product software, creating release material, including checklists, release notes, requirement coverage metrics. Reviews validation plans, integration testing plans, and power on test plans vs. product requirements and creates the pre-silicon milestones for emulation and simulation environment. Leads product-level Bug Scrubs to coordinate cross-functional debugging and root causing of product issues. Drives product level bug burndown and creates prioritized disposition plans with development and works with validation on the timing of verification and closure. Responsible for stakeholder management, including coordination of departmental or cross-functional teams as well as communication within the organization, outward to other internal groups and external customers. Tracks the product status versus the upcoming quality milestones. Thorough understanding of the software legal and security compliance process, how to apply it, and ensure that legal risks to Intel are mitigated. Defines and manages the project integration plans, driving closure on issues and gaps as well as maintains focus on continuous improvement.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS Proven track record in managing software development projects Experience with software development lifecycles including software validation Knowledge of and experience with Industry recognized implementation methodologies such as PMBOK Scrum Planning KANBAN and other Agile methods Proven experience working directly with technical experts to ensure successful planning and execution of complex projects Proven experience working with the technical team in gathering detailed requirements tracking progress against milestones and budget ensuring adhesion to clearly identified standards and procedures and monitoring progress and performance QUALIFICATIONS Primary degree in Computer Science or a related field EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years of management leadership experience in a software development or validation organization At least 5 years of experience with design development or validation for software products A record of successful delivery of software applications as a team leader Strong understanding of the software development cycle Strong leadership project management time management and problem-solving skills Experience managing the release of software components and work packages Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues Experience with Waterfall Scrum methodology and Agile practices Great communication skills with a command of verbal and written English DESIRED SKILLS Experience in Ethernet networking software Experience in Software Validation Experience in System on Chip development flowsInside this Business Group
