Job Description Summary
In this role you will be responsible for managing the financial planning, budget management, purchased services and cost execution process across the data and analytics portfolio of projects and products that are delivered to internal and/or external customers. Works with multiple teams involved in the portfolio to define and track the various spends, manage financial and purchased services processes and provide operational visibility and forecasts. Manage analytics projects delivery aligned to these processes. Ensuring financial rigor and practices are followed and improved as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Manage annual budget and financial planning and execution across multiple projects and products.

  • Provide the financial visibility, trends, forecasting and variance reasons across products and projects

  • Collaborate with multiple data and analytics projects and products owners on the investment direction and total cost of ownership.

  • Manage the technical cost estimation of the products and resources across multiple data and analytics technologies.

  • Manage the purchased services contract life cycle process, purchase orders, invoicing with the purchased supplier for the relevant projects and products.

  • Manage and execute the projects to deliver data and analytics reporting and dashboards related to these areas of ownership.

  • Provide financial models of estimation, create financial awareness and cost management direction to manage cost of products and projects aligned to the budget.

  • Update and maintain the required systems to track financials.

  • Manage the portfolio dashboards on the financial trends and forecast on the key metrices at different levels.

  • Manage and coordinate relationship, escalation, risks, and issues with the purchased services supplier/vendors. Evaluate the new partners based on the need of the project.

  • Identify, manage, track and communicate the projects and products benefits delivered and tracking them.

  • Facilitate the discussions on the budget gaps, resource planning and new investment needs and spend prioritization.

  • Work with the finance planning and analytics team to manage the SG&A accounts across multiple cost categories.

  • Work with the sourcing and vendor management team during contract negotiations and driving value through negotiations.

  • Work with the project managers and product manager for monthly and quarterly spend estimations, liquidations, labor cost approvals and productivity.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering with advanced experience of 6 years or more or Management Degree with relevant experience of 5 years or more

Desired Characteristics

  • Proven experience in managing the Digital technology project lifecycle.

  • Proven experience in managing budgets, financial processes, purchased services, project financials, product financials in Digital technology, IT and/or Data and Analytics area.

  • Understanding of data analytics data warehouse technologies and development process to deliver data, reports and dashboards

  • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans

  • Change oriented - actively generates process improvements, champions, and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

  • PMP or related Project Management certifications.
