Job Description Summary
In this role you will be responsible for multiple software projects as a project leader or internal consultant. You will work on highly complex software projects that require in-depth domain knowledge or two or more specialized architecture areas.

In this role you will,

  • Drive design and architecture for Data Transformation & aggregations, design and development of a roadmap, design pattern, and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Drive Privacy & Security Controls for Sensitive data, PII/PHI data classification and enable data access patterns based on data consumption for functional users and Applications

  • Technical point of contact for stakeholders for Data transformation, access & data quality

  • Drive Data Engineering standards within the team and meet all business/project metrics

  • Participates in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.

  • Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at Product level.

  • Participates in the Data Governance Council.

  • Supports the development data and data delivery platforms that are commercial oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.

  • Researches and evaluates emerging data technology, industry and market trends to assist in product development and/or operational support activities while Effectively monitoring and controlling costs in the organization.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent (STEM)

  • 10+ years experience in Data Analytics - Design, Architecture and the Software Development Life Cycle.

  • Expertise in AWS compute, storage & Big data services - Electronic Medical Records -EMR, Spark, Redshift, S3, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda serverless, etc.

  • Experience in one or more ETL like Informatica

  • Commercial/Sales/CPQ domain experience, working with data sets/models from products such as Salesforce, Marketo, Apttus Etc.

  • Experience in Data warehousing, Data & Dimensional modeling, and concepts.

  • Experience in/Exposure to one or more data visualization tool like Tableau, Spotfire etc.

  • Good understanding of enterprise source systems - ERP-Enterprise resource Planning, CRM- Customer Relationship Management etc.

  • Experience in Python or Core Java, Java Web Services development with REST APIs

  • Demonstrated ability to translate user needs and requirements into design alternatives

  • Effective team player with strong communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively / clearly at different levels in the organization

  • Proven ability to create and maintain online and printed documentation

  • Demonstrated track record for the successful execution and accountability of assigned tasks

Desired Characteristics

  • Global mindset with ability to effectively work on distributed remote teams

  • Experience / familiarity with Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics

  • Expertise in one or more analytics software tools and packages e.g. Matlab, R, Python etc.

  • Able to lead early-stage user interactions Guide users as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches and integrate with their Analytics solutions.

  • Ability to collaborate with user on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions

  • Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a Product solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
