The Selling Partner Support (SPS) organization in Amazon provides world-class support to our global Selling Partners, and is looking for a SPS regional Training Manager for our delivery center at Hyderabad.
The primary responsibilities include:
. End-to-end ownership of the associate and leader training programs in the region: from needs analysis stage, to management and execution of training.
. Ensure that new hires and current employees learning new skills, quickly develop the knowledge and ability to settle in and become experts at what they do.
. Develop and maintain capacity planning based upon site capacity goals and targets. Providing an annual, two and three year view.
. Take a data driven approach to understanding performance issues. Take action by collaborate with partner teams to improve the quality and effectiveness of training and coaching at your site for associates as well as leaders and managers.
. Identify progressive contact center tools and technology enablers that will improve effectiveness of training classes.
. Drive improvements in training performance innovating where necessary sharing pracitices globally. Communicate training performance metrics aligning to site performance metrics.
. Contribute to and influence the prioritization of key quality improving project entries and process improvement project opportunities
. Lead projects (with support from global training Org) to continuously improve the design of training materials, the quality of our instruction, and effectiveness of our coaching interventions.
. Build relationships and influence site leadership team to address issues that inhibit effective learning.
. Serve as escalation point between training and the larger ops/business organization.
. Work towards succession planning to ensure seamless growth in team
. Contribute to employee engagement in TRMS through Learning and Development initiatives
Basic Qualifications :
. Bachelor's degree or higher (Any Stream)
. Previous experience as a Training, Operations, Project or Program Manager directly managing and developing front-line managers
. Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators
. Have verbal and written communication skills
. Experience with process improvement
Preferred Qualifications :
. Master's Degree
. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse talent within a team, work cross-functionally, and build consensus on difficult issues
. Well- versed on communication, organizational skills and very detail-oriented
. Leadership experience in coaching, training and performance management
. Experience in training and learning methodologies
. Experience in training and facilitation
. Experience in managing process and operational escalations
