We, the ProServe engineering team in AWS ProServe India LLP ('ProServe India'), work with internal partners/customers to build production-ready applications for the most strategic cloud customers around the country. It could be anything: tools for the automotive industry to help them develop self-driving vehicles, supply chain management systems that help minimize carbon emissions, tooling for pharmaceutical companies to speed up drug development, and thousand other customer needs. We solve the world's most challenging problems using the cutting-edge cloud technology. If the AWS Platform does not fit the AWS customer's needs, we extend it!

Responsibilities
. Interface with a broad set of stakeholders. Communicate and collaborate effectively at multiple levels.
. Work with internal partners/customers to translate cloud customer strategy and requirements to functional/technical requirements that ProServe engineering team can deliver against.
. Drive work breakdown, user story elaboration, grooming and execution planning.
. Work with the development team to drive execution of sprints and achieve incremental delivery of capabilities.
. Seek continuous feedback from the customer and users to adapt and refine the technical design.
. Stay updated with the ever-widening stream of AWS platform improvements and new services.
. Respectfully challenge requirements and persistently advocate for Amazon's highest engineering standards.
. Dive deep and maintain progress even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge (avoid 'analysis paralysis').
. Communicate clearly (verbal/written), within the team and external (technical/non-technical) groups.
. Obtain/maintain AWS Certifications.
. Occasional travel (<20%).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
. 5+ years of experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes, coordinating release schedules, interfacing with a broad set of stakeholders, managing communications at multiple levels.
. Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
. Ability to communicate clearly with peers and technical/non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Experience understanding business requirements for large enterprises or complex product scenarios.
. Experience proposing detailed and innovative technical solution design independently.
. Experience leading engineering teams in executing high quality software.
. Hands-on experience in the operations and evolution of the software products.
. Experience building full-stack web applications.
. Experience with Cloud-native Software Development.
. Experience with Cloud Operational Excellence practices.
. Knowledge of Application Security Principles and how they impact development and deployment of applications.
