Job Description:
We are seeking a Sr. Strategy & Competitive Intelligence Manager in the Strategy & New Initiatives team. This position will partner closely with the founder and senior leadership team. The Strategy & CI manager will be responsible for providing analysis, insights and perspectives related to competitive activities worldwide. The Strategy & CI manager will work independently to manage regular deliverables and tasks as well as respond to ad-hoc requests. Most work will require independent thinking, interpretation and judgment.
- Explore new markets and business models in insurtech, and startup ecosystem through industry trends, historical trends, forward looking forecasts, competitive assessment, etc.and provide recommendations for strategic growth.
- To manage multiple CI projects under tight timelines and prioritize requests based on the criticality and business need as agreed with the stakeholders
- Hands-on experience on secondary data sources and proprietary databases.
- Understanding industry trends and developing thought leadership papers
- Assess and develop potential strategic investment opportunities for business growth and asset monetization perspective.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly competition update reports and newsletter

Candidate Attributes:
Successful candidates demonstrate intellectual curiosity, persistence, presence of mind, maturity and excellent communication skills.
- 5-7 years of experience years experience in Market research firm or strategy consulting or Investment banking Research Desk
- This position requires you to be highly self-motivated, proactive, organized and have excellent collaboration and communication with stakeholders in the insurance industry
- You are known to have excellent knowledge of market trends and possess strong market research skills
- You have advanced presentation and written communication skills
- You are a self-starter and believe in taking end-to-end ownership of things
- You possess strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to put complex ideas into succinct frameworks and business models
- Ability to network within and outside the organization
