NXP is looking for experienced (9 - 12 yrs) , passionate and self-driven wireless connectivity firmware developer who will develop and sustain usecase, RF system features for UWB ICs, customer design-ins. We are looking for hands on developers who will work with other cross component teams to develop and validate RF software.
Team
You will be joining a high performance wireless connectivity firmware team developing UWB protocol and radio firmware stack. UWB chipsets deliver precise location service technology that is used by top tier mobile phones, IOT devices and wearables. This technology has a multitude of use cases such as Real Time Location Service, Car Access, Door Access, IOT M2M etc. The team is involved in end-2-end development of system software, MAC software, RF software , Secure SW and DSP RF Algorithms on an ultra low power, memory constrained, mixed analog-digital hardware. The team is involved in multiple customer design-ins, design-in enablement and new chip development. You will be working on NXP's best R&D practices and collaborate with best minds across India, Europe and the United States.
Your Responsibilities
. Unit Design and Development of usecase and RF features for UWB
. Provide high level estimates for new features and field issues to aid planning by project leaders.
. Participate in cross functional technical meetings with systems, modem, validation, hardware, analog etc to integrate and validate firmware implementation.
. Mentor and Guide team members in domain and real time system design aspects.
. Hands-on develop critical features and PoC features to enable design-ins and design-in enablement.
. Debug critical issues from validation and from field. Setup hotspots to triage the system wide issues.
. Work closely with RF Tools to design and debug RF features.
. Visualize and articulate technical details at multiple levels of stakeholder.
