Job Description :
Review of appraisals and related processes1. To convey a clear opinion regarding the acceptability of the proposed transaction/ facilities, from credit & risk point of view, covering business model, industry risk, structure, financial risk and need based assessment during escalations or exercising of approval authority or while guiding the team.2. Identify, establish and review processes with a view to reducing inefficiencies and ensuring TAT without compromising on Quality3. Partner with business, CAD, Operations and compliance teams to help in meeting regulatory compliance with respect to credit dispensation including end use monitoring. Portfolio Monitoring & assessment1. Ongoing monitoring of portfolio including tracking developments in the industry and the account to identify stresses early and work with business and risk teams in devising appropriate mitigation strategies wherever required. Advanced detection before SMA / Rating downgrade / default by the team.2. Closely monitor accounts which are in stress, in order to devise and implement account strategy 3. Appropriate level of calling/meeting (covering clients, industry representatives etc.) to develop strong understanding of client business and industry dynamics4. To work with business in conducting meetings on a defined periodicity (monthly or otherwise) for reviewing Early Warning Signals and Close Monitoring.5. To partner with business, CAD and operations and compliance a. To help review end use monitoring on defined periodicity (to be covered on a quarterly basis) .b. To address issues/ responding to RBI / auditors on credit matters.6. Focused housekeeping review with credit approvers and Business & other stakeholders as appropriate for resolution.7. Based on reviews of the portfolio/ market intelligence, recommend policy or process changes. TAT1. Maintaining the defined credit and End to End TATs so as to better service both internal as well as external customers.2.
