  • Ownership of End-to-end technical delivery against project timelines and requirements.
  • Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting

Job Duties & responsibilities (List the principal duties. Use concise statements that provide a clear understanding of the level of responsibility, complexity, creativity and analysis performed in this position.)
  • As part of the application development team, you are responsible in designing, developing of highly complex and scalable Java applications.
  • Assume ownership of End-to-end technical delivery against project timelines and requirements.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting
  • Working with business analyst and End Users within organization.
  • Supports User Acceptance testing
  • Assist the team in conducting performance load testing and regression testing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and platforms.
  • Working with Application Support, Developers, and Product Owners to make release a success by delivering quality solutions to Customer adaption challenges and enhancements
  • Work with stakeholders to perform root-cause analysis & figure out solution approaches
  • Review design, code and approve solution approaches
  • Provide leadership to junior team members when called to do so
  • Ability and willingness to work alone on projects in a self-directed and matured manner
  • Maintain very high quality bar in projects from the start and to champion quality improvements by implementing better technical practices
  • Multi task and to provide needed input efficiently on Development activities
  • Assist in developing, organizing and maintaining technical practices along with manager and actively engage in rolling out improvements
  • Provide career guidance and mentoring for all team members & assist manager with reviews.

Required Experience (Indicate nature and extent of work experience including minimum number of years required.)
  • Degree in Computing / Computer Science / Engineering preferred.
  • Between 8 to 10 years experience, preferably in financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in functional analysis and design in the domain of Java-based applications
  • Experience in Agile methodology preferred.
  • Provide career guidance and mentoring for all team members & assist manager with reviews.
  • Requirements:
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging abilities for web applications
  • Good in communication, quick learner and ability to work under pressure
  • Should have good logical, analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Good in technical mentoring, code reviews to deliver quality output
  • Expertise with core Java software products like API libraries and frameworks, JEE technologies
  • Strong working knowledge in Core Java, JSON, REST APIs like Java API for RESTful Web Services (i.e. JAX-RS, Spring)
  • Hands-on experience with Logging (Log4j), and Unit Testing using the JUnit,
  • Experience working with enterprise applications using Spring and Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of at least one UI frameworks like AngularJS / ExtJS / ReactJS etc.
  • Experience working with SQL Queries and database servers like MSSQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
  • Experience in designing and developing responsive GUI / Front End Components/ UI /UX using JavaScript frameworks like React, AngularJS
  • Must have an experience in working with version control system like GIT, SVN etc. and build tool like Maven, with knowledge of continuous integration and delivery
  • Good command over using Data Structures especially XML operations and Processing technologies
  • Hands on in OOP, Design Patterns, TDD, IoC, DI, Knowledge of Serialization/De-serialization
  • Managing and mentoring team as well.

Database : MS SQL / ORACLE
