Job Title
Sr Analyst Tax MEA
The successful candidate will report to the Vice President Tax, based in Gurugram, India. The candidate will provide support to the Mastercard tax team with respect to tax compliance. The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for the timely and accurate submission of direct and indirect tax returns. Countries are in scope from MEA region.
. ensure that direct and indirect tax returns are prepared on compliant and timely way
. key contact person to interact with the outsourcing direct and indirect tax compliance providers (providing information and review of tax returns)
. working with Controllership in order to reconcile the direct and indirect tax returns with the tax accounts
. assistance during tax audits
. ensure that robust tax compliance processes are in place
. continuous interaction with the financial systems team in order to ensure that the ERP system (Oracle) is properly set up from tax perspective
. provide support to the tax director in conducting tax trainings addressed to divers groups within Mastercard's Shared Services Center.
All About You
. Tax experience in public accounting and industry
. Professional certification (CPA) / India CA preferred
. Competent in Microsoft office software
. Fast learner and ability to work independently
. Strong analytical and organizational skills
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. Positive working attitude
. Reliable and can be depended on to complete tasks on a timely basis
. Ability to work well with others.
