You have commanding knowledge of software development and validated experience in testing If finding and crafting software solutions as well as finding issues and fixing them with appealing, meticulous code are among the tasks that you're passionate about, we'd like to hear from you. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Work in a team that accompanies features from analysis, design, implementation, functional testing to operation and support (incl. stand-by)
  • Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
  • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products.
  • Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
  • Develop and lead the manual/automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles.
  • Execute and analysis of manual and automation test results.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
  • Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Support production deployment of applications and perform 'validation testing' during the off-hours maintenance windows.

Skills we can't do without:
  • 4 to 6 yrs experience with Java software development
  • You have a master's degree in computer science, business information systems, math, or a related field.
  • You are familiar with programming languages, operating systems, and Office software.
  • Experience with Java, Spring, SQL
  • Sound knowledge on Test Automation tools (like Selenium, BDD, Rest Assured & so on)
  • Testing experience in Web-based applications (developed in JAVA, dot Net, JavaScript), REST/SOAP API,SQL
  • Experience in interpreting the results of both manual and automated test cases
  • Testing terminologies, artifacts, deliverables on each phase, summary reports, defect life cycle.
  • Able to debug and get multiple workarounds for a given problem.
  • You have sophisticated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to explain complex concepts to colleagues and non-technical professionals.
  • You are proficient in English, both verbal and written
Skills we'd like:
  • Engineering Degree - BE, BTech, BCS
  • Certification in Software Testing (prefer to hire ISTQB certified software tester)
  • Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable
  • Experience inTest Automation tools (like Selenium, BDD, Rest Assured & so on)
  • Knowledge in CI/CD, Performance Testing, Security Testing
  • Knowledge in Jenkins, Maven, TestNG, GIT
  • Security Awareness (OWASP,PCI, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of agile software development
  • Passion for software Testing
  • Interest in new things and fast learning
  • Customer-oriented and independent
  • Analytical and networked thinking, flexible, creative and pragmatic team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Domain knowledge( BFSI ,Online/Offline Payment processing)
