Job Description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager for our Tegra Computer Vision Accelerator - Kernel Mode Driver Team with a good understanding of Computer Vision sub-systems, low-level programming skills, Kernel Mode Development and experience to help us develop fast, robust and safe systems used in Automotive and Embedded products.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will lead team of highly skilled and motivated engineers working on Kernel Mode Driver for Computer Vision Accelerator in Tegra SoCs.

  • Build the processes to achieve high quality software development

  • Make the right technical choices and tradeoffs governed by data driven development

  • Coordinate with multi-functional software teams contributing to roadmap

  • Continuous improvement of quality and performance of the software and raise the bar

  • Decide the objective and goals and drive team towards achieving those

  • Guide the team for shipping the solutions

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering and more or equivalent experience.

  • 12+ years of experience with kernel mode device drivers. Solid understanding of computer architecture, Kernel Mode Design and development on embedded systems.

  • 7+ years of coding and reviewing experience of Kernel & Device Driver Development.

  • 5+ years experience in leading a Kernel Development team in agile environment.

  • Experience developing or Leading team delivering drivers on Linux, QNX, or other RTOS on 32/64-bit ARM SoC.

  • StroGood understanding of principles of computer vision algorithms.

  • Experience in leading multisite teams

  • Knowledge of ARM architecture

  • Exposure to DL/ML techniques on DL frameworks.
