As a Site Reliability Engineer, your mission is to contribute within our team of innovators and technologists toward creating, maintaining and improving services and products against established Service Level Objectives by applying software engineering practices. Your knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing, automation and application programming will help your team raise their game, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your skills will be counted on to solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. Your desire to embrace leading-edge technologies and methodologies inspires your team to follow suit. And best of all, you'll be able to harness massive amounts of brainpower through our global network of technologists from around the world.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • B.S. or M.S. in computer science, information systems, math, business, or engineering
  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in Software development in at least one technology stack
  • Experience in automation of routine tasks
  • Experience in Unix/Linux/Windows service/process management and shell scripting
  • Experience in configuring/using Tools such as servicenow, AppDynamics, Splunk
  • Proficient in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems
  • Knowledge in software development in one of these languages: Python, Java, Scala, SQL
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure components. (E.g. Routers, load balancers , cloud products , container systems , compute, storage and networks)
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions to that allow teams to embrace change while managing risk
  • Be part of the 24x7 support coverage as needed
