We are on Day 1 of building Amazon Music for our customers in India and we will need to continuously uncover the human insights that can be tested to craft the ideal experience for our customers. Amazon Music India is seeking an exceptional customer- obsessed Social Media Specialist to manage innovative social media programs for Amazon Music. This team member will drive best-in-class customer experience and engagement. We are looking for an experienced and creative social media manager with a genuine passion for storytelling, news, music and culture. A big part of building India's most customer-centric audio entertainment destination is engaging with customers and fans via social media to help them discover and enjoy all that Amazon Music India has to offer. The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering results for social programs, driving audience growth, engagement and publishing a high-volume of content. The candidate must have a drive for testing, learning, and making insight- and data-driven decisions. The candidate will partner closely with internal Programming, Editorial, Marketing and Industry relations teams in the planning and execution of social media campaigns across Amazon Music's social handles. You will be responsible for all social media and digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, as well as seek out emerging platforms that can help us grow our customer base and brand. Success in this role requires a passion for social media, love for music culture, audio content, digital and app experiences, excellent customer instincts, strong brand understanding, extreme attention to detail, excellent project management skills, an aptitude for measurement and performance monitoring, a keen eye for compelling and innovative content, and a passion for continuous improvement. . Manage Amazon Music India's social handles and partner with other Social Media Managers to integrate campaign-specific messaging across all channels
. Develop programs to grow audiences and foster social conversation
. Guide the creation of micro-content such as social graphics, visual development, animated GIFs, and short-form video related to campaigns
. Ownership of key Amazon Music India's social brand channels including execution of activations from concept to post-implementation analysis to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings
. Be the business POC for social media customer service team.
. Constantly improve processes to maintain a high-bar on customer interactions and satisfaction . Constantly iterate and maintain Amazon Music India's personality and social tone of voice to stay relevant to fans and customers. Ensure consistent brand positioning and tone of voice across all platforms
. Build and leverage locally and cultural moments to make brand Amazon Music relevant to Indian audiences
. Develop paid promotion and boosting plans in partnership with media and agency partners
. Track performance of social media campaigns, content, and overall health of the assigned social handles with regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders
. Work closely with Programming, Editorial, Marketing, PR, Label/Artist Relations, Product, and international teams to champion social-first ideas and execute global integrated activations, events, and strategies
. Aid in the development of the social strategy as it relates to messaging, engagement, and content performance
. Surface insights for business and marketing strategies using social analytics
. Partner with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activation
. Present to senior leadership regularly on social plans and results
. Continuously innovate within the social space
. BA or BS degree, preferably in Communications, Business, Marketing, and/or related field
. 3-8 years of experience working in social media marketing, community management, digital/brand marketing
. Proven competency and superior knowledge of social platforms, tools, and performance tracking
. Thorough knowledge of the Indian entertainment market landscape, social media trends both in India and globally.
. Passion for storytelling, listening to what the community has to say, and providing engaging experiences in the social space
. Very high degree of fluency in English, excellent writing and copy-editing skills with the ability to translate traditional marketing content into brand-relevant conversations
. Passionate with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay on top of trends and emerging platforms
. Ability to synthe creative and analytical social insights to develop impactful social media plans
. Strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality
. Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

. At least 5 years of experience in community management and consumer social media marketing in the entertainment industry preferred
. Experience in Sprinklr publishing and reporting, Facebook Business Manager Insights, Social Listening, and Photoshop
. Experience with live streaming
. Polished in presentation and communication, highly organized and detail oriented
. Ability to deliver on multiple deadlines and prioritize compulsively as a self-directed individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
