Relevant experience - 7 to 10 years

  • Worked on ITSM different upgrades
  • Worked as Integration / Implementation Architect
  • Must guide the team how to code, Configure, Technical and solution architecture

Responsibilities

The Service Now Architect will be responsible for leading the full systems lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of IT functional solutions The IT Lead & Architect will apply deep functional expertise and client handling skills in order to ensure engagement productivity, increase efficiencies for clients, resolve issues and overall client satisfaction The Architect will work under minimal supervision, will be responsible for, and will be required to oversee the work for Service Now project implementation and integration
Design the architecture for the ServiceNow Implementation
Specific Functional duties include:

  • Gathering requirements directly with the customer via different means of communication
  • Understand and employ target ITIL based processes and existing client requirements processes
  • Perform quality reviews / code reviews to ensure requirements are documented properly and also maintain a runbook
  • Develop overall process, transaction, and reporting system design
  • Expertise in ITOM, Service Now Discovery and Service Mapping projects is a must
  • Expertise in Configuring and creating Widgets on Portal and UI Pages on Backend is a must
  • Writing functional requirements for systems implementations and system test scripts
  • Configure or Customise Service Now to implement Service Requests per the requirements and design
Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of Service Now development experience
  • Experience developing Service Now applications from business requirements and/or technical
  • design documents
  • Expertise in Web technologies (Web Services, XML, Ajax, Perl, Python)
  • Experienced in BMC Remedy to Service Now Migrations (Vice-versa) or other ITSM tools
  • Hands on experience of 5+ years with implementation/Design (Service Now)
  • Thorough understanding of CMDB, SACM implementation methodologies
  • Understanding of Service Blueprints, Service Definitions and Service Modelling
  • Understanding of the Common Data Model and experience in extending the CMDB data model
  • Understanding of Best Practices for Product Catalogues along with Normalization, Reconciliation processes, configurations, KEDB setup etc
  • Experience with other ITSM software (BMC, Landesk, Cherwell, Heat, Axios, HP,etc) would be an added advantage
  • Should have worked using Agile methodology. Certification would be an advantage
  • Fluency in Web services (SOAP, REST, wsdl, xml)
