Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure delivery against QA department goals and objectives by meeting commitments and quality assurance schedule.
Identify and document defects found.
Maintain product consistency throughout the product cycle, including the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing.
Work with the QA team to develop and improve quality assurance metrics for performance improvement for all teams.
Work with project managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for QA related projects and other activities such as software development and customer integration.
Stay abreast of the latest software testing methodologies and tools to ensure the highest level of expertise.
Desired Candidate Profile
Five (5+) years experience with software quality assurance initiatives including product testing, test automation, manual testing, metrics and process improvement.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server environments.
Experience working with Microsoft Windows Applications testing.
Ability to work independently and productively under pressure.
Experience working with trading platforms. Experience with market data and FIX will be a plus.
Experience working with JIRA and Confluence a plus.
Experience with scripting languages, load testing and the latest automation techniques will be a plus.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment (highly preferred). This is a hands-on position.
Strong command of spoken and written English. The position involves extensive interaction with teams in London and New York and good communication skills are a prerequisite.
