Amazon Music India team is looking for a Senior Podcast Manager based in Mumbai to lead the podcast business. An ideal candidate is an experienced podcast professional with a proven track record of driving business growth with an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and content marketing with strong data analytical skills. The Senior Podcast Manager has a creative mindset and is eager to quickly test, fail and learn to identify successful patterns to grow the business.
Should be able to drive business by collaborating with teams and functions across marketing, content, product, programming, design, finance, global podcast managers and global tech. The candidate will wear multiple hats, is passionate in working on new challenges/opportunities and doesn't shy away from taking up additional responsibilities. An inclination to roll up your sleeves and solve problems-doing whatever is needed to get the job done-is essential.

The Senior Podcast Manager works daily with teammates and partners across Podcasts, Marketing, Content Acquisitions, Podcast Publishers and Social, as well as with key team leaders to collaborate on vision, strategy, and goals for our podcasts business. You will need to possess an entrepreneurial ability to try new and different things with minimal direction. As our lead for India, you will directly impact the way both listeners and creators in India and around the world experience podcasts.

Key job responsibilities
* Own and deliver the Podcast listener & penetration rate goals. Establish processes, functions and systems to deliver the most personalized experience to existing podcast customers and drive sampling with non-streamers on Amazon Music
* Own the content strategy to increase 3P content selection on the service and collaborate with Wondery and local publisher partners to launch locally relevant Amazon Originals
* Be the day-to-day point of contact with local and relevant global podcast publishers and artists to drive co-marketing initiatives, create content calendar for the marketing team. Provide support to partners both 1:1 and at scale.
* Own content marketing and programming to drive acquisition and engagement across internal and external marketing platforms ensuring podcasts get requisite SOV on Amazon Music marketing channels. Collaborate with marketing channel owners to co-own the experimentation framework of podcasts on Amazon Music and share learning with stakeholders
* Conduct customer deep-dives to understand customer behavior to influence product or marketing decisions
* Own the weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, highlighting performance trends, key wins, misses and learning and share all important updates with leadership
* Stay up-to date with the industry trends in India and globally to identify business opportunities


* Bachelor's degree
* 8+ years in digital marketing, content creation, podcast or content marketing space
* Proficient knowledge and understanding of the Indian podcast market or audio industry
* Demonstrated experience working in cross-cultural and international environments across time zones.
* Ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines and work streams to execute high-quality deliverables.
* Comfortable with navigating through ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced, start-up environment where managers are owners and wear multiple hats.
* Passion for building and nurturing strong relationships with existing and new partners.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Ability to partner cross-functionally with a variety of teams world-wide
* Experience working with optimization frameworks and tools
*Enthusiasm for experimentation
