Job Description

about the role
As an engineer, the incumbent would be responsible to automate and streamline operations and processes.
Guide team to build and maintain tools for deployment & monitoring.
Modern cloud design and deployment methodologies including CI/CD.
Be a DevOps champion - work closely with teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development & deployment lifecycle.
Closely collaborate with technology and product leadership, QA, DevOps to gather product requirements and translate to technical requirements to support the engineering team using Jira
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated processes for deployment tasks.
Fulfilling an infrastructure or environments management role on a major systems delivery programme.
Suggest and implement process improvements for estimating, development and testing processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test and production environments.
Take the lead to the train all the concerned team members on Devops methodogies and latest tools
Take the lead to showcase the lab as a incumbent competance center to the customer and build a strong cusotmber relationship
Introduce the team with all the new tools and technologies so that operations activities can be optimized Â
about you
Good experiences in an enterprise integration design or architecture role.
Strong technical expertise on Devops tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
Strong experience on Cloud Computing.
Strong experience with network, operating system, database and storage support.
Strong experience with software deployment and Configuration management automation.
Good knowledge on monitoring tools and basic knowledge on tuning of applicaton/ database.
Good knowledge about type of testing
Good ability to do performance analysis of System level and application server level and summarizing the bottlenecks
Efficiency and ability to follow processes
Basic knowledge of Plan
Customer centric approach
Problem solving and investigation capabilities
Ability to work with aggressive schedules
Ability to identify problems and work to resolution as required.
Ability to engage and partner with customer and internal staff as required.
Strong ability to work independently to support the system activities for the customer
