The Role Responsibilities
Lead the Development Management

  • Directs the activities of the ITAM development managers across multiple applications and simultaneous multiple projects for the quality product development within cost and schedule

  • Devices multiple parallel work streams for development managers to work as efficiently, making sure they have short term goals and long term vision

  • Ensures appropriate SCB&rsquos SDLC procedures and processes are followed when it comes to software development

  • Participates in software HLD control activities, reviews key technical specifications and test strategies , Implements design plans, enforces SDF documentation on software development for every unique software requirements

  • Reviews the Schedule, Project and TPS Cost, Deliveries of critical delivery plans, Detailed Finance Plan (Project, BAU cost including MD and NMD)

  • Devices &ldquoRelease Management/Deployment&rdquo plans to handle roll outs and roll backs. Monitors critical rollouts closely and update management and stake holders

  • Oversees Service Request (Enhancements, bugs) and Service Quality Review with Product Vendors

  • Monitors status of developing software and ensures the completion of tasks and projects as per master project plan
    Participates in other areas of the software development process

  • Represents the technology in internal and external meetings with business, auditors and SCB forums

  • Collaborating with different teams across geographical location

  • Building application and tool competencies, laying strong foundation for setting up team and seeding and constantly replenishing key leads and managers in all streams . Enforces continuous learning of Teams (internal, external and on-the-job). Guide, coach and mentor software development Managers.

  • Effective execution of resource planning (Hire, Release, Rotate) during full application life cycle and project lifecycle without excess staffing or under staffing.

  • Talent retention and resource career growth planning for all FTE staffs.

Transact with Production Support Management

  • Author/Reviews all critical audit response (GIA, External and Regulatory Audits)

  • Runs SRE, automation, efficiency, infra optimization, TPS savings drives towards reducing the total cost of ownership of application. Constantly reviews Resource planning for support teams including shift capability.

  • Coordinate escalation and resolution of major service issues (SRs) with product vendors, other technology teams of SCB. Report continuously and promptly to management and business partners regarding critical outages until resolution.

  • Join team meeting, reviews and improves support staff&rsquos interactions with auditors, infrastructure, security patches, change management and development teams.

  • Support building application and tool competencies, laying strong foundation for team and seeding and constantly replenishing key leads and managers. Enforces continuous learning of Teams (internal, external and on the job).

Transact with Infrastructure and Shared Services Management

  • Partner infra managers for Infra lifecycle of assets including managing Servers, Storage, License, Application Setup, SAT, OAT, Continuity Management of Assets.

  • Partner infra managers for Procurements, Batch Runs Progress, Remedy Changes, SRM Transactions and updates with the weekly report to management

  • Partnership in Plans, Executes and Monitors Security Patching (CVE, CCM) and security remediations (TLS, etc) across all server assets in Finance Technology

  • Prepare the Technology Refresh/Obsolescence Remediation plans and executes them

  • Partner for building Infra competencies, acquire talent, laying strong foundation for team and seeding key leads and managers in infra and shared services stream

  • Oversees management of CMDB data, decommissioning of assets end of project/application lifecycle

  • Join for the optimization of Resource planning for Infra and Shared Services Team

  • Enforces continuous learning of Teams (internal, external and on the job

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 12+ Years of Technology Experience.

  • Experience and Exposure to Moodys Ray product which takes required credit risk information to determine minimal Capital requirements under Basel III / IV.

  • Knowledge of RWA stress testing, Economic Capital and National Discretion calculations.

  • Regulatory reporting, MIS, Analytics, Data aggregation and reconciliation.

  • Bachelor&rsquos degree in Engineering. Business Administration degree will be added advantage

  • Certifications in Scrum and Architecture are preferred.

  • Must have on the ground experience in running a large scale software development, support and Infra teams (>20 members) with handing parallel projects

  • Should have experience in key dimensions of software development (Architecture, Solution, Development, Testing, Infra Solutioning, Production Support, IT Presales, IT Costing and Financials)

  • Must also be familiar with a variety of programming languages, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, ETL Principles, BI Principles, Analytics, Data Principles, Scripting and Automation

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and visibility skills.

  • Must possess exceptional troubleshooting skills and be able to assess quickly the complex situations

  • Experience in handling pressure in delivery, bottlenecks, support and troubleshooting

  • To keep up to date with the latest developments in the technology industry

  • Experience in developing and supporting high BC applications

  • Experience in remotely working in occasional unusual hours due to the different time zones

  • Diligent handling of Ambiguity and Effective Decision Making
