Job Description Summary
In this role, you would serve as Ops IT owner for multiple applications ensuring uptime and availability to serve business needs. You will also drive simplification & value initiatives across the application portfolio. You will act as focal partner with Global IT, Regulatory, Security, Platform Factory teams to provide support, technical guidance, analysis & strategic solutions for the applications in scope.

  • Owns Operational Excellence. Works with dependent support/Infra teams to assist & facilitate resolution of support issues related to Data Products and Delivery across Healthcare Strategic Business units for multiple regions.

  • Experience inData Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Integration experience using Big Data technologies, ETL, Relational/NoSQL Databases, Data Modelling.

  • Experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Integration experience using Big Data technologies, ETL, Relational/NoSQL Databases, Data Modelling.

  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data Analytics using various Hadoop ecosystem technologies and Spark Framework. Developed highly scalable Spark applications using Spark Core and Spark SQL APIs in Scala/Python.

  • Extensive experience in requirements gathering and conceptual/logical/physical database modeling.

  • Experience with containerizing applications and deploying them to Kubernetes cluster.

  • Implemented Data Solutions using AWS Cloud Services.

  • Monitors production support team deliverables (e.g. SLAs).

  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers individual needs

  • Troubleshoot application alerts from monitoring tools and follow SOPs to resolve or escalate appropriately

  • Work directly with service architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues

  • Drive customer communication during critical events and lead retrospective meetings

  • Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our customers technical support experience with minimal guidance

  • Write SOPs, and other technical articles for the customer community and knowledgebase articles and keep them up to date

  • Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple services

  • Engage, leverage, and drive simplified processes.

  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders

  • Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes or IT operations experience

  • Strong knowledge of Big Data and Cloud (AWS) eco-systems S3, RDS, Lambda, AWS Dynamo DB, Aurora, Redshift, Elasticsearch, Step function etc )

  • Hands on Experience in Java development.

  • Understanding of containerization technologies, Docker containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes

  • Excellent knowledge with development tools & integrated build systems: Git/Jenkins

  • Broad knowledge of IT disciplines including compute, network and storage platforms & Compliance

  • An ability to translate business processes to understand how the data flows between systems

  • Tooling experience: Scripting experience - Python, Postman

  • Knowledge of Healthcare R&D, Regulatory and compliance

  • Experience with BI tools , ETL frameworks

  • Working knowledge of Data pipelines using Spark & Kafka is an added advantage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum of 6 years of experience in Operations

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with containerizing applications and deploying them to Kubernetes cluster.

  • Knowledge of data management concepts including data catalogs, data lineage and data quality solutions

  • Experience in Healthcare domain

  • Implemented Data Solutions using AWS Cloud Services
