We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of SCS.
Role Purpose:
The Workforce Management lead will be responsible for the day to day management of an efficient and sustainable headcount management process across Risk IT and Compliance IT during a period of significant Transformation incorporating - benefits tracking, target operating model and location strategy, taking direction from the Head of Transformation & WFM. The role will include liaison and relationships with central IT COO functions, CIOs / Technology Operation Directors.
Compliance IT and Risk IT are Technology department with circa 2700 people and a $240m cost base entering a period of transition and location rationalization which requires considerable management and oversight. This role will require the individual to be proactive and hands on, to ensure the ongoing management of an operationally 'excellent' organization during a period of significant change.
Principal responsibilities
Decision making areas
  • Resource management across Risk and Compliance IT including -
    • IT Transformation programme deliverables
    • Hiring pipeline reporting for Transformation programme - location rationalization, transition from contingent to permanent workforce, etc.
    • Exit path management
  • HC system data quality management and reporting
    • GHRS - active resource management
    • Pioneer - Open request management
    • Taleo - Hiring forecasting
  • Input into the continual improvement of processes & Responding to adhoc HC firedrills as appropriate

Customers / Stakeholders
  • Resource management across Risk and Compliance IT including -

Leadership & Teamwork
  • To support Risk IT and Compliance IT management in managing an accurate resource and transformation profile
  • Interact on a regular basis with the Risk IT and Compliance IT Business Management team
  • Take responsibility for professional and timely delivery of all deliverables.

Operational Effectiveness & Control
Employing a considered approach, with practical and helpful insights and application to enhance the management of resources within the function Qualifications
Requirements
Skills:
  • Understanding of Resourcing processes and common systems
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Strong Excel Skills is a must
  • Good analysis and problem solving skills (growth area)
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Delivery-focused with ability to pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality

Experience:
  • Hands on experience in managing headcount
  • Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with stakeholders of varying seniority
  • Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a complex, global organisation
  • Excellent influencer and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority.
  • Self-starter

Qualifications:
Typical qualifications would include an undergraduate degree. Mathematical, Computer Science related or business related degrees are advantageous. Relevant experience is also a prerequisite and may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications.
