Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer is Oracle’s strategic offering for a managed private cloud/distributed cloud i.e. OCI commercial region dedicated to a single customer deployed in their datacentre. To drive market success of this offering, we are investing in building a team of highly talented individuals in Asia Pacific.
What You%27ll Do
You will own %26amp; drive OCI-Dedicated Region opportunities from inception to close, working closely with the in-region Geo Managing Directors, Cloud Sales Leaders and Key Account Leaders. 
Manage all aspects of opportunity lifecycle and orchestrate the alignment of key resources at the relevant stages of the lifecycle.
Support identification to qualification of opportunities. For qualified opportunities, lead the business case development (TCO models, workload identification- existing %26amp; new), solution architecture, commercial constructs- Overall proposition development and articulation.
You will pitch the overall proposition at not only the customer CXO level (CEO, COO etc) but also at operational level (Architect teams, Infrastructure teams etc).

Primarily with our customers but working with extended teams internally is very vital for this role. You will work extensively with Insight, TCE, Industry Architects, Cloud Pursuit %26amp; OCI Product management teams.Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in Datacentre transformation/Infrastructure outsourcing/Large cloud migrations in a presales or an implementer role.  Strong understanding of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is a must.
You have over 15 years’ of rich experience having worked on multiple technologies, managed/implemented large deals or pursuits %26amp; become a trusted advisor to customers.
You have witnessed the data centre evolution from converged infrastructure to hyper converged infrastructure to software defined datacentre. This experience will help pitch the value of OCI platform %26amp; software defined infrastructure when deployed in the customers’ datacenter.
You have experience migrating workloads to public clouds This will help engage with customers and identify suitable workloads in the datacentre to migrate to OCI- Dedicated region.
You have experience managing large deals %26amp; pitching to C-Level This will help you lead %26amp; manage the OCI-Dedicated Region opportunity through the lifecycle that can span 2-4 quarters. Your experience pitching to C-Level will come handy articulating the overall OCI-Dedicated region proposition.
You have experience in Digital transformation initiatives This will help you convince customers to leverage OCI- Dedicated region as a platform for innovation. This experience is desirable and not mandatory, you would know this terminology having managed responses to multiple RFI/RFPs.
You exude a strong technical aptitude, high motivation to develop new business %26amp; a positive attitude that is contagious. You are passionate in pursuit of success %26amp; building positive relationships with customers and colleagues. You possess strong business acumen to spot opportunities for OCI- Dedicated region where others see none. You are articulate %26amp; have phenomenal communication/presentation skills. Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
