Job Description



We are looking for a Senior Analyst/Manager to join our Financial Reporting (FinR) team, which is part of the Financial Operations group based in the firm's office in Hyderabad, India. The FinR team is primarily responsible for compilation of financial statements on a periodic basis to present to investors, counterparties, regulators, and other government entities. Team responsibilities include computing fund and investor level performance returns, management and performance fees under various models and providing accounting guidance, all while driving technology projects to automate and enhance these responsibilities.

What you'll do day-to-day

In this role, you'll prepare, review, and file hedge fund and private equity financial statements (primarily following U.S. GAAP for Investment Companies) and other regulatory reports participate in the auditing of these entities prepare and review monthly investor account statements compute funds performance indicators for investors and various fees chargeable on a periodic basis. You'll also be responsible for handling change management processes, understanding and analyzing changes in the firm's businesses and incorporating these changes into the reporting infrastructure, along with driving technology projects to build tools for reporting and analysis, streamlining workflows, and improving user experience. Additionally, you'll also act as the first point of contact and reviewer for the work done by junior team members. Who we're looking for

  • Candidates should be a CA (CPA would be an added advantage) with three to five years of relevant work experience in financial reporting for global investment or banking entities, handling audits, and ensuring statutory compliances under U.S. GAAP (having an understanding of IFRS and HKIFRS would be an added advantage).
  • The ideal candidate should have attention to detail, proficiency with MS Excel, keen analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills to interact successfully with various stakeholders.
  • Candidate should have a highly motivated individual who can handle all levels of complexity in the respective area of operation. The applicant must be comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment driven by month-close deadlines.
  • The candidate having prior experience in the hedge fund or investment banking industries is ideal.
