We Merchant solution organization of FIS work around enabling digitalization of modern money and provide convenience to Merchant across world with ease of accepting payment. Each time you use your debit card or credit card to pay for something, whether online or face-to-face, there\u2019s a good chance it happened because of us. On an annual basis our innovations and technology enable billions of money transactions globally. Working with customers large and small, we help them to take payments quickly, safely and reliably, allowing them to grow their businesses and making your life more convenient in the process.
What you will be doing

  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective heartbeat meetings.
  • Ensure on behalf of the team that all user stories meet the definition of ready (DoR) before being accepted into sprint and definition of done (DoD) coming out of the sprint.
  • Be an expert in estimation and planning to ensure the team and stakeholders understand the relative of work and forecasted release schedules.
  • Ensures sprint goals are set and understood by the team and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Builds a high performing team focusing on team dynamics and performance of the team and the individual.
  • Protects the team from uncontrolled expansion of work
  • Removes impediments or guides the team to remove impediments by helping them find the right people who can help.

  • Provides technical leadership for a global agile software development team.
  • Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application

Essential
  • Minimum 3+ Years of Experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Some exposure to working within an agile/Iterative environment.
  • Experience of planning work.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Negotiation & Communication skills
  • JIRA/Confluence experience.
  • Coaching of individuals or teams.
  • Knowledge of software development practices & processes.
  • Understanding of backlogs, tasks, velocity, load and team metrics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to co-ordinate input from different areas.
  • Ability to grasp complex information very quickly.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, can build relationships quickly.
  • Excellent writing skills, with a good grasp of the English language.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent logical and systematic approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail. \uF0B7 Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to compile sizing of work from various technical and non technical sources, often to a tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of outputs.

Desirable
  • Financial services/ Banking/ Payments/ Acquiring.
  • Experience of working within agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP and SAFe.
  • Experience of coaching agile teams.
  • Strong knowledge of scrum theory, rules and practices.
  • Knowledge of agile metrics.
  • Large infrastructure change projects etc.
  • Supervision, mentoring and coaching of less experienced staff.
  • Agile qualifications (e.g. CSM)
  • Scaled Agile qualifications (e.g. SAFe)
  • Management or coaching training.
