This exciting role offers opportunity to:
  • Technical projects leader (TPL) is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and closing of the software development within programs. TPL is accountable for meeting the delivery obejectives of software inline with the program plan, respobsilble for the software development through proper planning of tasks, milestone and phase deliverables.
  • Incumbent should be experience in running a software project plan in the agile system. They would be responsible for being a scrum master and run daily priority meetings with the team. This would require them to prioritize items coming in from the customers, teams and then assign tasks to team to verify that our overall schedule is not significantly impacted by issues that arise.
  • Individual will be responsible for a daily summary of tasks and status of CR’s in order to coordinate to give updates on the status of their customer requests.
  • Incumbent should have demontrated experience with software estimation and timing. This individual does not need to be a software expert but needs to have experience with planning software tasks in order to guide the team to give accurate estimates. They would manage the Jazz sprint plans and work with software/requirement leads to plan out the sprints. This individual will work directly with Global Systems Lead to take what the customers are requesting for timeline and then plan out what is realistic for the timing.
  • Individual will be responsible for aligning release timing for software team along with validation team.
  • Much of this role will resemble a program manager. However, the focus of this role is quite different. The program manager’s role is to observe the overall timing. This role’s primary focus is on the software project plan. They will need to be intimately involved in the software meetings and plan out every week what the team will present at the end of the week as well as petition for more resources if the plan falls too far behind that we will miss customer milestones. In other software companies they are called technical program managers. They would report key deliverables to the program manager.
  • Incumbent is responsible for driving the devlopment of software in conformance to applicable automotive standards (ASPICE, AUTOSAR,ISO 26262).
  • Incumbent is responsible for tailoring the DFX approach to software development and be a change leader to ensure the elements of engineering excellence are properly deployed, maturity is tracked and reported in a phase gate development approach
  • Incumbent should architect, mentor and coach the team in driving software engineering excellence, champion the continuos improvement process to implement learnings and improve customer value our to processes/workflows
  • BE-Electronics and Communications/ Computer/ Electrical with 10+ years of experience in AUTOSAR STACK & Software Development, ISO-26262, Agile ScrumMaster.
  • Understanding of Automotive standards
  • Experience with software estimation and quality delivery
  • Conversant with sprint planning and agile product development
  • Work & interact with global cross-functional and cross-cultural team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate to internal/external customers and suppliers.
