Job Description :
Position: Manager -QASummaryQA Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of applications that EY engagement teams uses to support the EY Strategy and Transactions (SaT) mergers and acquisitions methodologies.
This role will work closely with Client Delivery Service, Business Analysts, Business subject matter experts (SMEs), Developers and Architects. Deliverables are designed and delivered via our product lifecycle roadmap and release plan.
This role will be instrumental in Test design, Test data creation, Test automation and other test related activities.
Person will establish mechanism for quality checks of deliverables by developing and enforcing robust validation processes, providing documentation managing staff.
The right individual should possess vast exposure to all types of testing i.e. Functional, Integration, Database, API and automation. Should have experience in leading multiple projects and mentoring team.
Role and responsibilities
Understanding of business requirements, applications and its underlying architecture and devise test plan
Leading QA deliverables and ensure timely completion of testing tasks
Work and manage mid- projects, ensure smooth service delivery on assigned products, engagements across geographies.
Work with senior management to analyse resource needs, gaps and devise plans to mitigate risks
Work and manage automation framework implementation and required development
Leading the UAT related activities
Collaboration with the software developers, product owners, and other QA teamsduring the development phase in agile team’s spirit
Skills
Minimum of 10 years of software quality experience
Experience and ability to work in Agile based software development environment
Experience in test design from explicit or implicit requirements
Experience or working knowledge in creation of complex SQL queries such as various joins, aggregations, groupings
Implement automation using Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, JAVA/C#, TestNG/NUnit
Knowledge on HTML, DOM, Git, and Jasmin
Experience in testing APIs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones
Knowledge with Microsoft Team Foundation Server ( TFS) or Azure DevOps
Experience in testing of BI reporting like Power BI, SSRS reports would be plus
Experience or knowledge of testing performance of web applications would a plus
