The Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Ensure SAP Aspire systems align to the banks Security and Compliance policies

  • Understand the SAP product roadmap with respect to Security and align to the Aspire roadmap to navigate through upcoming changes, take advantage of new design features and identify any compatibility challenges


Business

  • Demonstrate awareness of security design and governance on the ability of the business to perform their functional tasks, including reviews of Segregation of Duty


Processes

  • Security consultant servicing production and non-production, and involved in

    • SAP Hana Enterprise Cloud platforms versions in least S/4 Hana 1709

    • design and create PFCG roles for Fiori front-end access, Front end OData services and ABAP core backend PFCG roles for access (query access / analysis authorisation) and for Authorisations

    • design and create HANA native roles for access to analytical and object privileges

    • GRC Access Control including ARM, ARA, BRM

    • enabling data access controls for the attributes required by business user

    • defining and implementing user stores in IDP to enable SAP SSO



  • Review existing baseline documents and critically evaluate with reference to best practices and SCB security policies

  • Drive adoption of SAP security best practices across the project teams, working with other security consultants to ensure alignment. Perform low-level quality reviews of design, build and implementation of SAP components from a security perspective

  • Hands on implementation experience of moving design into production, and review of existing operational practice to ensure automation where possible

  • Additional experience in any of the following an advantage

    • design permissions in SAP Business Objects / Business Warehouse

    • design and create XSA Role Containers for Scope and Attribute Access

    • SAP BPC Task profiles and Data Profiles

    • SAP Disclosure Management

    • SAP SaaS Platforms such as Ariba, Concur, Success Factors

  • Experience working with a globally distributed team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders across business, operations, and technology function and challenge where appropriate

  • Willing to build knowledge by liaising with multiple build teams, interfacing to internal and external teams, reviewing documents, exploring systems

  • Willingness to learn new technology through self-learning / online resources / on-the job training


Risk Management

  • Administer SAP GRC Access Control for identifying role risk and implementing remediations or confirming mitigations


Governance

  • Define best practice for ongoing governance review of security model in production including Segregation of Duty checks and review of non-user Accounts

  • Define best practice, implementation, and governance of emergency access management in SAP components

Other Responsibilities

  • Worked in a role that has included role design and governance as well as admin

  • Excellent hands-on experience (min.6-8 years) as an SAP security analyst with exposure to complex, global programmes involving multiple SAP Components as detailed above
