About thePosition
We are looking for adynamic and enterprisingSoftwareEngineerin Testfor Oracle-NetSuiteteamin Hyderabad location.As a Software Engineer in Test, you will help us deliver our market leading suite success suite that powers many of the world's largest ERP. Ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to apply technology to solve real business problems. They will be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical constituencies. Above all, they will demonstrate a clear ability to create robust, easily extensible solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and decompose complex technical specifications to design and implement an automated testing approach

  • Design and create test plans to address business and technical use cases

  • Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards

  • Test the application and build automated tests to exercise different aspects oftheapplications

  • Execute, maintain, and review the results of existing automated tests, filing issues, and fixing tests as necessary. Create automated tests for new features being developed.

  • Analyze complex production environment issues and design automated tests for future validation

  • Setup and configure real world production-like environments to validate software integration points

  • Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the product functionality and testing objectives

  • Scrubs issues in their product area, figuring out steps to reproduce in a test account based on steps to reproduce in a customer account

Experience/Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in Software Quality assurance

  • Experiencewith Java as programming languageand experience in testing of Web applications

  • BS/BTech in CS/MCA or related field /experience

  • Experience with bug tracking, test case management systems, and source control systems

  • Experience in Selenium script development is essential and API automation preferably.REST APItestingis a plus.

  • Experience of development/scripting skills in languages like JavaScript preferable

  • Good understanding ofobject orientedprogramming

  • Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, self-motivated and perform well under pressure

  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills

  • Experience as a member of a scrum team is a plus

  • Working knowledge ofotherinternet/web technologies is a plus

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A of 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
