Job Role & Responsibilities / Skill sets

Total years of 12+ years of experience in technology and solutioning
• Help customers solve their business problems by proposing technology solutions
• Leading, reviewing and working with proposal team in writing effective proposals and presentations to customers’ needs
• Perform detailed analysis of Request for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Statement of Work (SOW) and Vendor Questionnaires requirements
• Manage RFQ, RFP, RFI, SOW and their timelines
• Responsible to identify and track opportunities using various sources
• Responsible to work with sales, delivery and employees/consultants to collect past performances and case studies
• Responsible for the end-to-end proposal process for new/existing business opportunities, beginning with the pre-sales phase to contract award
• Responsible for managing multiple, concurrent complex proposal efforts and teams simultaneously
• Collaborate/interface with the proposal team, including IT delivery, sales, proposal personnel, internal and external subject matter experts, partners and executive leadership to complete large, complex opportunities
• Revising input from subject matter experts, proofreading proposal drafts, and copy-editing final proposal and presentation deliverables
• Responsible for creating successful responses to RFPs and presentations, particularly those involving Information Technology
• Responsible for creating, reviewing content for Websites and Blogs
• Gain a broad understanding of clients products, platforms and solutions in order to effectively lead the proposal team in drafting targeted client-centric submission
• The proposal lead will also manage ad hoc independent assignments such as update existing content database information and maintain a consistent brand through the creation and use of templates, presentation materials, graphics and supporting tools
• Provide detailed, timely communications (e.g., meeting invites [purpose, objective and agenda noted] deal summary, meeting minutes, action items, varying status email communications, etc.

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of Presales IT Proposal Experience and over all 10 years in information technology delivery organization
• At least 5 years of team leadership with people management responsibilities including task allocation, tracking, mentoring, reporting and performance management
• Experience in technology, architecture and delivery
• Experience and exposure in web, mobile, analytics, cloud and emerging technologies
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, estimation and solutioning
• Strong experience in presenting proposal responses and presentations to internal and external customers
• Experience in competitive research, finding and evaluating solution partners
• Experience working with required SMEs to create effort estimates and pricing towards various initiatives
• Experience in creating ideas and leading proof-of-concepts for IT solutions and emerging technologies
• Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to accomplish tasks proactively and autonomously
• Desire to work in a supportive team environment, and ability to work with other writers, editors, subject experts, and managers concurrently to develop large documents under tight deadlines
• Excellent tracking and reporting for the management
• Excellent language skills, including writing, editing, and verbal communications.
