As a Project Leader, you will drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interface with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.

In this role, you will-

  • Partner with Engineering Product Owners (EPO)/Principal and Chief Engineering /Product managers and develop the strategy for project deliverables such as Compliance , VCP (Variable Cost Productivity), design changes, supplier transfers etc.

  • Focal for compliance standards and strategize gaps for portfolio and develop execution strategy working with EPO/Functional Managers (FM).

  • Partner with required cross functional teams part of project to drive tasks, effort and timeline

  • Establish budget needed to meet project deliverables

  • Driving effective communication across businesses and cross functions and provide right visibility on projects risks and drive enabling actions.

  • Ensuring compliance with Design History File (DHF) and other (Quality Management Systems) QMS/regulatory/standard requirements

  • Establish standard processes and identify technical gaps and promote Lean Problem-Solving Report (PSR) techniques to drive temporary and permanent measures.

  • Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives

  • Working with the team to deliver quality products on time and within budget

  • Working closely with Product Definition team in order to drive product direction

  • Working with stakeholders to solicit product feedback and leading cross-functional teams to drive customer support

  • Demonstrate sense of urgency in response to customers and drive actions through 100% ownership.

  • Communication strategy on critical business matters to key stakeholders till the issue is resolved.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineer/Technology in Computer Science, Electronics & communication, Mechanical Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent degree

  • 10+ years VCP (Variable Cost Productivity), engineering, NPI program, sourcing, supply chain, or service experience

  • Demonstrated leadership through leading project teams and an ability to drive project design plans to completion

  • Demonstrated leadership in driving high impact projects in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders with high visibility

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with engineering managers with confidence and clarity.

  • Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility.

  • Resourceful, strong track record in delivering results with speed

  • High energy results driven person with strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills. Strong influencing skills & Team motivational skills.
