Role Proficiency:
Independently manage and drive customer projects. Guide team members technically in any field of VLSI Frontend Backend or Analog designs.
  1. Own any two or more tasks of the projects in RTL Design/Module Verification/PD/DFT/Circuit Design/Analog Layout/STA/Synthesis/Design Checks/Signoff etc.
  2. The project POC for the client project and interface with the internal team
  3. Lead and drive the project team to complete the assigned tasks successfully and on-time in the domain(s)
  4. Lead the efforts to build a project plan and assign tasks to other leads and engineers
  5. Own the project plans and drive the project(s) for successful completion
  6. Anticipate diagnose and resolve problems coordinating as necessary with cross-functional teams
  7. Define the tasks of the team members and track for successful delivery
  8. Lead by example to write paper(s) file patent(s) and devise new design approaches
  9. Come up with novel ideas to reduce time and cost of design cycle

Measures of Outcomes:
  1. Quality of Projects delivered as measured by the client using relevant metrics
  2. On-time delivery of all project milestones
  3. Optimizing resources and cost
  4. Reduction in cycle time cost using innovative approaches
  5. Number of white papers published
  6. Compliance with mandatory trainings meeting training goals set by manager

Outputs Expected:
Technical Skills:
  1. Guide the team technically when needed
  2. Provide technical training specific to project requirements if needed

Quality of the deliverables:
  1. Meet 100% quality metrics of the client
  2. Drive the team for any client specific checklist(s) for the ongoing project(s)
  3. Drive functional spec / design guidelines with 100% compliance without deviation or limitation
  4. Lead the efforts of documentation of tasks / work completed

Timely delivery:
  1. Meeting project timelines as specified by the client or program manager
  2. Request help and support in the event of delay in delivery

New Skills development:
  1. Learn new technology on-the-job and provide training upskill the team members
  2. Take up new areas of project management and planning

  1. Motivate train and engage project team and support at all levels of requirements
  2. Participate in team building efforts with the internal team as well as client teams
  3. Dedication to work at hand going beyond the call of duty to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

  10. Must have previously successfully completed one or more projects in the same domain
  11. Required technical skills and prior design knowledge to execute assigned tasks
  12. Ability to learn new skills in-case required technical skills are not present to a level necessary to execute the project
