The Program Manager within PSAS team acts as the primary interface between our internal stakeholders to launch new projects and manage ongoing projects.

We obsess over providing world-class support to Sellers selling on the Amazon platform. We strive to predict the Seller's needs before they recognize they may have a problem, create innovative self-help tools, and provide solutions to help our partners better serve their customers.

SPS Team is looking for Program Manager, foreign language expansion to join our program team to support a number of leaders on language programs and initiatives.

This role will drive significant global impact to the daily employment experience of thousands of Amazonians. It requires a leader with a DNA-level love of data who exudes passion for solving large scale problems. It's a role that will appeal to those who love the complexity of global scale, chasing the thrill of solving taxing challenges, get energized by flexing between micro and macro in within minutes, and aren't intimidated by pushing through change to create a world-class center of excellence.

You are self-motivated, solutions-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and innovative in developing best-in-class programs to deliver our strategy to enable, foreign language center of excellence in India. You generate unexpected insights, develop bold solutions, and experiment with innovative ideas. You deliver persuasive, evidence-based business cases for action and change that ultimately result in an improved seller experience. The ideal person will be a role model for diversity, inclusion and able to help create a growth culture, based on learning, coaching and problem solving. The role can be located in MUM, BLR, HYD, MAA, or be virtually located and willing to travel frequently.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
. Design, fine-tune and drive the Language Expansion Program initiatives
. Influence stakeholders outside your direct area of responsibility to ensure program execution
. Identify and mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks within program
. Drive periodic follow-up efforts among stakeholders to ensure programs adequate progress
. Prepare communications for Senior Leaders to keep them informed of programs status, risks, and change control
. Work with Ops, L&D and EE teams to develop scalable operating mechanisms
. You should be willing to dive deep into the root causes of issues / metrics performance and be able to come up with a logical solution / action plan to address the issues
. Actively support regional Supervisors/Extended Program Team

  • 3+ years experience in program or project management
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

. Bachelor's degree required
. 6+ years of relevant experience in Project Management
. 6+ years managing global stakeholders in cross-functional projects
. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management
. Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where not all processes and procedures are clearly defined. Agility to change directions quickly as needed
. Ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and develop and drive appropriate solutions.
. Positive, proactive and always able to exercise great judgment
. Demonstrated ability to influence and consult with others, deliver in a customer-centric manner
Desire to think beyond traditional initiatives and to innovate

. Experience leading global program initiatives and/or process improvement efforts
. Background in working with Language teams
. Preferably know a foreign language apart from English
