Job Description

We're looking for an analytical and highly customer-obsessed Program Manager to key programs for a farmer engagement program. As a Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate not only your program and project management skills, but also define and drive program initiatives, processes, and policies. This role will tap into your ability to wear multiple hats, working with product, category, customer service teams and external stakeholders to address issues/solve challenges our team has never encountered before and shape the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual to have a large impact business unit within.
The right person will have at least two years of program management or equivalent experience, be highly analytical and able to deliver key programs for farmers and farmer producer organizations. Candidates must have strong sensibilities to develop new concepts and drive trade-offs to achieve business goals. Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills and strong customer focus. Some exposure in farming extension service delivery will be a plus. The Program Manager will also lead a team of technical service delivery associates at a regional level, while working with internal and external stakeholders
· 2+ years experience in program or project management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in agriculture
· 2 years of relevant work experience in Program management, process improvement and/or digital/high-technology companies/products.
· PhD Agri/MBA, 3/4+ years experience in the domain
· Exposure in Agritech startups/ working with farmer community
· Ability to succeed amidst ambiguity
· Leveraging technology to invent, improve, and scale.
· Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
· Experience in Microsoft Excel, SQL.
· Ability to handle the day-to-day management of tasks, prioritization and resolution of problems and issues and experience in implementing action plans to meet objectives.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
· Self-starter and possesses flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
