The Retail Systems function is responsible for building retail platforms, tools and automation required to manage selection, optimize pricing, forecast demand, buy products and deal with vendors. Pricing Analytics and Operations is an integral part of Retail Systems enabling Amazon's pricing strategy and operations. The team's primary role is to provide on-time and accurate inputs to help make great pricing decisions. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and Amazon's topline & profitability.

Job Description:
In the Program Manager role, you will be responsible to monitor & drive Quality objectives of the pricing analytics & operations processes. The role requires you to work closely with senior leadership, helping them make data-driven decisions, spot pricing errors, up problems through various analysis, convert problem statements into process improvement activities & achieve closure. The job involves analyze business outputs, leading and implementing process/system improvements, and identifying emerging process performance trends.
You will be responsible to track, analyze, create reporting dashboards and maintain the quality metrics of assigned processes & teams. The individual will interact with the business, automation & technology teams to help drive operation, deploy tools & technics and system improvements.
The successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels with an eye for detail to achieve quality & process goals, actively seeks to understand Amazon's core values and translates those into everyday practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
. Influencing business decision making by providing quantitative/qualitative data analysis, which bring out insights and trends pertaining to business performance.
. Driving business impact through analytics driven projects. Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional team to come up with actionable, high-impact insights across product lines and functions.
. Communicating findings to stakeholders and providing recommendations to business for improving business performance. Ensure that data and analysis is presented in a format that is appropriate for a varied audience using data visualization, dashboards, or other methods.
. Drive process/system improvements basis ongoing trends/gaps identified
. Execute on assigned project components & drive low-medium impact projects him/her.
. 24/7/365 availability, including willingness to work outside of the 'standard' work day
. Carries out tactical issue based communications with internal
. Creates ad-hoc operational reports, status updates & proposals on a need basis
Basic Qualifications :
. 2+ years experience in program or project management
Required Skills, Experience and Preferred qualifications:
. Education and experience: Bachelors or Masters preferably with relevant work experience of over 6 years with excellent written and oral communication skills
. A passion for helping organizations understand how to solve problems through analytics.
. Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced, technology-oriented environment.
. Prior project experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred, but not absolutely required.
. Sound knowledge on problem solving tools methodologies like Kaizen/DMAIC/Lean
. Has been a part of transformation initiatives to automate solutions
. Has problem solving skills and attention to details
. Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office tools
. Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills
. Has the ability to deliver results by influencing team members
. Ability to work independently and think ‘out of the box
. Should be able to ‘dive deep and identify the root cause of the issues and get them fixed by coordinating with different teams like operations and IT
. Should be adept with quantification and able to draw insights by analyzing data at hand
. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and leadership members to close loop on activities
Preferred Qualifications :
