Minimum qualifications:

  • 9 years of experience in a leadership role at a leading organization, Marketing, Program Management, Strategy Consulting or related field
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Experience managing strategic projects through the complete life cycle.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skill.
  • Strong command of financial metrics and exceptional analytical skills, with a talent for using data to inform marketing or product strategy.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills with a high degree of analytical rigor, strategic mindset, and business acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in presenting to both internal teams and external partners.

About the job
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for leading, planning and driving a strategic acceleration plan focusing on the growth of our business. You are in charge of shaping the way Google interacts and communicates with key audiences in the country across consumer and business products. You develop marketing strategy and lead the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives aimed at growing Google product usage and enhancing the Google brand perception. You will also partner closely with Sales, PR, Policy and other functions and Marketing Teams in order to deliver on key Google priorities in the market.

Responsibilities
  • Set the vision and direction for the assigned scope in India
  • Liaise with a varied set of partners (both internal and external) to drive initiative priorities and lead work across agencies and vendors
  • Identify opportunities for new programs to launch conceptualise and build out a detailed and structured implementation roll-out plan for the initiative
  • Showcase performance based on clear progress metrics and measurable impact of ongoing work
  • Lead and manage a high performing team in a high paced environment
