Job Description


Preferred Qualifications
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and could review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Direct development of product documentation and collateral and review them for superlative customer experience in using the product. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Specific functions include 

  1. Gather and document business requirements of new enhancements being developed into the product

  2. Work with product team to develop user stories, UI mock-ups; solicit and analyze user feedback

  3. Produce and review documentation that will be used by user from the business to technical end

  4. Partner with outside/outbound product manager, sales and marketing to deliver high quality product collateral if needed

  5. Launch new services/features by working closely with outside/outbound product managers, marketing, and sales organizations to maximize product adoption

  6. Present to internal stakeholders, customers and partners 

  7. Represent the products with training and presentations to the Oracle field and customers

Work on generating next-gen ideas that will be used to make sales reps, marketers, merchandizers and service agents more effective Collaborate with product management and engineering teams.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Manage and perform various research projects to help determine the viability of proposed projects in terms of technical feasibility, return on investment, and other criteria
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
