What is the primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for We are looking for a product manager with 10+ years of professional experience who enjoys working on challenging problems and is passionate about growing their skills in the pursuit of delivering quality products. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the product strategy for Pivotal Tracker, working with the engineering team to deliver the features, while using insight form our customer management and success teams to inform the overall product backlog. Pivotal tracker is widely used as an agile project management tool by millions of customers around the world, and your impact will enable organisations using Tracker with a shared view of team priorities, a process that fosters collaboration and dynamic tools to analyse progress which will help equip help teams to deliver more frequently and consistently. This role will provide opportunities to work across the organisation and will be a catalyst for technical and professional growth. Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-9 months you will work toward completing Able to acquaint yourself comfortably with existing product & customer base and further understand the immediate roadmap priorities and customer needs Partnering with engineering to deliver an initial set of capabilities and defining the next set of high value features Interact with customers and prospects to define market requirements and translate these into product requirements into MVP features and user stories Knowledge of various SDLC frameworks and tools used by most large-scale enterprises to inform the competitive landscape for Tracker as well as needed features/integrations What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis As part of the Tracker Engineering Team, you will be: Working with a team of full stack developers building a web based product that customers interact with directly for their own software product delivery Working with engineers, designers, and support to build a roadmap for Tracker that improves the productivity and delight of users consuming the product same Taking high level feature concepts and breaking them down into small pieces into user stories that can be worked on effectively by the engineering team.
