The Product Expert is accountable for designing and delivering the roadmap that will improve the user experience for the products within their domain and support the strategic priorities. Each Product Expert will work collaboratively with stakeholders to agree on priorities within their domain and build plans to deliver against those priorities. The Product Expert will have ownership and responsibility for the product domains within the SAP product suite. The Product Expert is recognized as the go to leader and trusted advisor for their product suite, working collaboratively and adaptively to constantly meet the needs of their customers and deliver value to GSK Consumer Healthcare. The Product Expert is accountable for business & technical analysis for products within their domain and support the strategic priorities. As part of the persistent product development team, they are accountable for technical deliverables and ensuring sound architectural setup of products. The Product Expert will provide technical guidance and advice to Product Owners as part of solutions, fit/gap analysis and options assessment with a focus on feasibility. They will need technical expertise in the areas specific to the product domain they are working. They will also be accountable for technical artefacts such as systems requirements, solutions design and security & privacy reviews. They need to deliver solutions to the respective product roadmaps that meet the overall strategic direction for GSK Consumer Healthcare and the overall operating model, integrated into end-to-end process flows in the SAP template, driving alignment across multiple sites/markets and functions. In addition, they need to assist and deal with escalations in their domain area. The Product Expert is recognized as the functional domain expert and trusted advisor for their area, working collaboratively and adaptively to constantly meet the needs of their customers and deliver value to end customers and GSK Consumer Healthcare. Key Responsibilities: Technical Configuration/Customization: Work with third party solutions providers, developers and other GSK CH teams to conduct technical configuration/customization of solutions that meet our customer's needs and provide a great user experience. Ensure the SAP design is managed and controlled to maintain integrity of the ERP template. Drive synergies across the different modules in the domain area. Data Protection: Develop a sound knowledge of GSK policies and processes regarding protection of sensitive data. Governance & Product Assessment/Demand management: Take part in technical governance and oversight of product development across a product domain. Support Solution Architect and Product Owner in the assessment of technology solutions. Support Product Owner in the estimation and prioritization of the product backlog to produce the product set with the highest business value. Product Domain: Understand the product domain from a technology perspective and how the technology adds value to the business. Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring all products supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP, SARBOX and that Tech continuity plans are in place for all business-critical products . Change & Release management: Manage change activity, including Software as a Service delivered change, into the production service in a compliant and efficient manner. Integrations: Ensure data transmission from upstream systems or providers (e.g. Workday) or to downstream systems (e.g. Manufacturing Local Apps or SAP BW) through integrations is efficient, accurate and secure. This also includes building reporting capabilities that support both operational reporting as well as analytic reporting. Process Improvement: Drive ongoing product and technical improvements adopting a mixture of delivery methodologies where appropriate - but focusing on Value to the customers. Technical Product Deliverables: Ensuring completion of technical deliverables as outlined by Product Owner/GRC and ensuring technical aspects of definition of done are achieved. Operational Support: Responsible for ensuring any changes are delivered in accordance to the services levels that are in place, to ensure adherence to those SLAs, and directly managing any Level 3 support issues and escalations. Accountable for Lifecycle Management of their area. Demonstrate an ability to resolve complex issues, manage user relationships and delivery. Proactively seek ways to reduce the volume of support work, identifying common/recurring issues, and proposing improvements. Technology Strategy & Enablement: in the role of trusted advisor, strong domain knowledge including business process, industry best practices, in market solutions Demand management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog to produce the product set with the highest business value. Accountable for the product backlog and product cost forecast. Governance: Establish business value, manage delivery and service performance and manage business risk within the scope of their product. Responsible for representing the product in governance boards such as Steering and Design Authority. Product/Project Delivery: Design and deliver the optimal set of products and services which meets the business strategy and requirements. Accountable for creation and execution of the product roadmap. May complete hands on configuration, providing detailed designs and wider impact assessments. The ability to think big picture and customer first is imperative. Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring all products within the domain are compliant with internal security and risk management policies and practices, as well as external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP and that Tech continuity plans are in place for all critical products. Feature Definition: Proven ability to translate customer requests, competitive activities, and industry trends into value drivers of new technology solutions and product requirements that can be easily understood by product teams, developers and other key constituencies within the organization. Service Management: Responsible for ensuring any changes are delivered in accordance to the services levels that are in place, to ensure adherence to those SLAs, and directly managing any Level 3 support issues and escalations. Accountable for Lifecycle Management of the product. People Management: Will work in collaboration with the broader team to drive and deliver business value to tight timelines adhering to the release management calendar where applicable. Depending on team structure, the incumbent will matrix or line manage the team Adoption strategy & change management: in the role of change agent, support both the product teams and the business in agile approaches to solution development and adoption, building excitement, momentum, visible success stories and clear value based versions of vision as roadmap plans come to life. BSc Information Technology, BSc Business Technology, Business Administration or Accounting degree More than 16 year of experience in major global Tech organization or IT consulting firms in SAP Functional area. Solid SAP configuration experience in: FI (GL, AP, AR), VIM, Inter-Company Proven ability to engage with business process owners to understand the business needs and priorities, lead requirement gathering and analysis, and design solutions leveraging appropriate tools and platforms Experience in implementing large and complex SAP Projects, solution build, configuration and delivery to meet business requirements. Expert hands on experience in developing SAP solutions using configuration in FICO modules Demonstrated breadth of knowledge and solution delivery experience across the end-to-end financial process and its integration points with other processes (P2P, Tax, O2C, Treasury/Banking, BI etc.), acquired through multiple hands-on roles in global SAP implementations Knowledge and understanding of local legal and fiscal requirements and their implications on ERP Knowledge of external and internal best practices relevant to aligned process area Demonstrated ability to understand purchase to pay and accounts payable processes (master data, invoicing, payments) and their role to support business operations Strong interpersonal skills.
