Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate - Disability Claims
In this role, you will be responsible for processing claims of individuals with policies for employee benefit product- short term disability and long-term disability.
. Qualitative review of the documents received for completion and gather additional requirements
. Follow up on requirements via e mail and send correspondence
. Check for Initial eligibility
. Complete Initial claim review
. Capture the claim information on data base and workflow systems
. Calculation of the Benefit payout period and payout
. Take decision on claims (pregnancy and simple claims)
. Generate correspondence as needed. i.e., follow-up letters.
. Meet individual goals for claims assigned and meet the expected service levels as defined, etc.
. Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems
. Ensure that turnaround time and quality of the work meets Company service standards
. Get along with Onshore /Offshore and customer in a supportive and professional manner via email and on calls
. Graduation in any stream except BBA, MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech and Technical Graduation & Law
. Proven Claims backend operations experience for Group Disability or Employee Benefit or Worker Compensation or Claim management or Overpayment recovery or Absence management
. Good English Communication (Both written & verbal)
. Proactive communication & High analytical skills - ability to foresee issues and suggest solutions, with impactful data
. Display energy and passion in approaching the job!
. Decision making capability!
. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing outstanding customer service
. Good in MS Excel
. Should be able to do MIS reporting / report outs
. Experience in Group/ Individual Disability Insurance /Employee benefit/ Workers Compensation/ Life/ Health and/or LTC
. Insurance qualification/certifications will be an added advantage
. Maintain key records like working files, email for reference and audit purpose
